Rastall Art - built on a passion for original British art
From Us
We have grown up with art, surrounded by oil paintings at school, home and family businesses focused on local arts and crafts. This unconventional path into the art market has influenced how and what we want to deliver through Rastall Art.
Bringing our collective experiences, passions and love of research together, we look to offer you great customer service, interesting individual art works, rare artists proofs, low edition lithographs and sometimes quirky British and Continental artists.
To You
We would like you to find something distinctive, unique and inspiring to add to your personal art collection.
If you are interested, we would love to welcome you to a personal viewing at our home gallery, with no obligation to buy, just good coffee and the time to view at your leisure.
Meet the Rastall’s
Simon has combined his creative experience and knowledge, from years in large scale events and music festivals, with his love of art to establish Rastall Art. His fascination with 20th Century artists, their stories and works make him an inquisitive and knowledgeable buyer.
The fisherman in him enjoys the hunt for original paintings and unique works. He is particularly drawn to 20th Century Painters and British Post-Impressionists. He is often traveling the length and breadth of Britain in the search for great quality art, with the added advantage of a spot of sea-fishing when in Cornwall.
Tracy brings her experience of FS business and technology analysis to the business. She is always broadening her knowledge and is currently enjoying all things abstract, with a soft spot for Miro, William Gear and Michael Canney.
They are frequently joined by their team of sheepdogs. Ted, a Border Collie from ‘up North’ loves a good Fred Yates heavy impasto oil; whereas Pickle, a true Welsh Farm Border Collie is drawn to Kyffin Williams’ artwork.
The latest addition, Tip the puppy, is a Somerset boy who is about to emigrate to Iceland. He seems taken with all things Frost, Sir Terry Frost!
