We do not usually offer Fred Yates watercolours for sale but this was just irresistible. As Fred names it “A Bit of Fun” if you are looking for a great painting that makes you smile, here it is. It is so busy with Fred’s people on the beach, in the sea and up the hill. The keen-eyed Yates collectors amongst you will notice that Fred has painted the dog the colour of a golden retriever and not his usual trademark ‘Little Black Dog’. The paper is in good condition and the colours are strong in this wonderfully balanced, lively and fun Fred Yates watercolour painting.
