Henry Moore Lithograph - Created to bring artistic inspiration to school children in the 1940’s after the end of the war when many schools were austere, dull and basic. It was a method of introducing the next generation to contemporary art through bright and cheerful lithographs. Henry Moore’s Structural Objects is instantly recognisable as his work and interesting for its childlike composition. Other artist included in this project to supply 4,000 schools with artworks include Kenneth Rowntree, John Nash, Michael Rothenstein and Julian Trevelyan, to name a few.
